< style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">After an intensive application process that encompassed clubs from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Kansas, five woodturning clubs have been chosen to compete in a “turn-off” for $2,000 in cash prizes. The turning competition will be held September 12-14 in the courtyard at the Forest Heritage Center. This competition will be open to the public. Each accepted club has chosen their “best of the best” to represent their organization in the competition.  The competitors will be given three days to create as many pieces in any shape and form they choose. All of the turnings created in the competition will be added to the Forest Heritage Center’s permanent wood art collection.
